I'm getting either a Messiah 2 or a Magic 3.1 PS2 modchip, they support all PS2s of any region, don't require disc swapping at all, support all kinds of games, including DVD9 (Xenosaga), can be disabled, etc. And both of them are a bitch to install.

XS has crappy ass music in game, almsot no BGMs, and those thatare are of averageness, and just repeated every few cutscenes :/ Battle music's ok, but I was expecting alot more

Monolith Soft made a huge mistake by not using BGM in stages and even some cut-scenes, but the music the game has, when it's played, is excellent, if not the best. You don't hear music like The Miracle or Zarathustra in any game.
